We are currently raising the WestBridge SME Fund, first close took place on 30 June 2010. A final close of £35m to £50m is expected within the next year.
The WestBridge SME Fund comprises both institutional and high net worth investors. High net worth investors may invest through a tax efficient “feeder fund” managed by Saltus Partners LLP, a UK based and FSA regulated private wealth management company.
The fund commitment for individual investors is modest - a minimum of £100,000 drawn down in four equal installments of £25,000. This gives investors access to the private equity investment asset class without having to meet the high entry requirements of a traditional fund. An investment may be made via a Self Invested Personal Pension ("SIPP").
We are seeking to deliver a target return of 3x money and a 30% IRR for our investors.
